CONNECTING generations of public health and healthcare professionals

We are introducing an opportunity for students to provide the next generation of medical providers and public leaders with guidance as they begin to explore the world of medicine. This mentorship program will consist of highly individualized mentor-mentee matching, virtual events, and nationwide networking opportunities with other students and residents.

The first class of mentors will be considered our “founding mentors” and will help us shape this program to be as inclusive and meaningful as possible. We are designing this programming to be as high impact and low commitment as possible.

We are introducing an opportunity for high school students to be connected with one-on-one mentors who are current medical students/residents/pre-medical students. Our mentorship program will also allow mentees to participate in Agronyx research and community engagement projects, nationwide networking events, and other virtual events.

Mentorship will have no in-person requirements and will likely involve virtual mentorship. Mentorship frequency, content, and duration will be dependent on the desires of the mentee and the availability of the matched mentor.
